America First Legal (AFL) filed a FOIA request for records on the communications between specific DOD appointees -- Ariana Tabatabai, Christopher Maier, and Elizabeth M. Phu. These requests would reveal the anti-American and pro-Iranian sentiments within the Biden-Harris DOD and identify the DOD employees responsible for leaking two highly classified U.S. intelligence documents on Israel's planned attack on Iran. However, the DOD unlawfully withheld these records from AFL.
Action:
AFL sued the Department of Defense for failing to produce the responsive records requested.
