WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, America First Legal’s (AFL) President and Executive Director released the following statements following the Supreme Court of the United States’ decision in Trump v. United States, granting Presidential immunity to President Donald J. Trump.

AFL filed an amicus brief in the Supreme Court of the United States in this case on behalf of U.S. Senator Roger Marshall and 26 members of Congress in support of Presidential immunity. You can read the full brief here.

“The Biden Administration is engaged in an unprecedented campaign of political persecution of its opponents, most notably, President Trump. The Supreme Court was right to recognize that the President enjoys immunity for official acts–which are at the heart of this biased prosecution by Jack Smith and the Biden Department of Justice,” said Gene Hamilton.
