Merit-Based Medicine is a national effort to expose and eliminate discrimination in medical education and health care. Across the country, medical schools and healthcare systems are replacing objective standards with Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) policies that prioritize race, sex, ethnicity, and other inherent traits over merit. We believe this is not only unfair but dangerous. Our mission is to restore a system where patients receive the best care, and physicians are chosen based on their abilities, not their identity.
