AFL Lawsuit Against ONU on Behalf of Formerly Employed Professer to Enter Mediation in September

“Last year, Scott Gerber, a previously tenured professor at Ada’s Ohio Northern University (ONU), lost his position at the university following objections he made to ONU choosing candidates for its law faculty based on their race and sex. In that same year, on Dr. Gerber’s behalf, America First Legal (AFL) filed a lawsuit against ONU on the grounds that his employer had unlawfully terminated the professor for opposing illegal Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) hiring practices.”

“Presently, the judge on this case noted in his order that both parties agreed to a mediation in September on which he will eventually give an opinion. In addition to this current development in the lawsuit, AFL has claimed to have uncovered some ‘smoking guns’ that show Ohio Northern University has considered race in hiring and lied about it under oath.”
